Preach it Brother

Two Wild and Crazy Guys

No joke, these are two dangerous characters. John Colyer and Bob Simcox made some ministry waves this summer in Gravataí.

Scott Spragg

Scott came with the group from Ankeny Free Church and blessed us with his gentle prayerful spirit. He also taught a men's seminar.

Strategy

Grace Fellowship Church Mime Team

One of our partner church's in West Palm Beach, Florida sent their youth Mime Team to minister within our ministry network here in South Brazil for 10 days.

Central Plaza of Gravataí

After lunch one day we did an impromptu presentation of the mime right in the central town square. by God's grace, two adults responded to the gospel.

Street Corner

The Mime Team went mobile in the streets of Porto Alegre. Here they are in front of a small grocery store on a street corner.

Galpão

Here they are in front of the Galpão where we ate lunch. There were bars on both sides of this street and many "patrons"came out to hear the message of Christ.

Efraim

Efraim from Grace Fellowship played God in the mime, continually calling man away from the world and back to himself.

Kid's Enthrawled

During 10 days of ministry here, the Mime team had audiences amounting to over 1000 people.

The King of Hearts

This mime demonstrated the masks people wear to try to cover the emptiness inside. Jesus then enters and sacfrifices all to win their hearts.

Belém Velho

This man, André, responded to the message of the gospel presented by the Mime team in the neighborhood of Belém Velho in Porto Alegre.

Masks

This was the mask of violence and outward strength.

The Redeemer

In this mime, God and Man are seperated by man's sin. God breaks through the wall by sending his son to take our punishment.

Barron and David

Barron and David watch the Mime team towards the end of a long day.

David and Emily

Watching the Mime team on the streets of Porto Alegre.

Mime Training

The Mime team had the opportunity to train 4 Brazilian teams. The teams in Gravataí have already had the opportunity to present this ministry many times.

Pain

During the training David trys to communicate great pain without using words or sounds. He's betrayed the smile on his face.

Brazilian Father's Day

Here's Dad and the kids.

The Dad's from our church in the Rincão

We took the picture recently on Father's Day in Brazil.

A New Dad

Here's a new believer Paulo who's life has been truly transfomed by Christ in the past few months. These kids have a new dad this Father's Day.

Rincão Worship

The church continues to grow here, many nights we can barely fit on the school patio. We're praying that God will give us wisdom on how to meet the growing spiritual and physical needs of this local church.

Surf Kids

After the July Group left, we were able to spend a day at the beach. With the help of our partners Shane and Erin, we rented some surf gear and Heidi, David, and Emily tried to hang ten.
